Details
Early Registration is $20 and Registration is $25 after August 1st, 2009.

10% of the proceeds from the fundraiser goes to the rider that raises the most money. That rider may nominate a child with autism to receive a grant for biomedical or behavioral intervention. If the rider does not have a child to nominate, they may allow NAA of Central Texas to nominate a child with autism in need. The grant check will be written out to a local medical, BCBA, HALO, or RDI clinic of choice and to both the parents with a contract that the money will be used for intervention.

50% of the proceeds from the fundraiser goes to 50 children with autism in need in the Central Texas area at 1% per family. Each family will apply for the grant and NAA Central Texas will choose 50 children using a lottery system. In order to qualify, the family of the child must make less than $50,000 per year with one child with autism or $60,000 with more than one child with autism. The application will contain a local medical, BCBA, HALO, or RDI clinic the child will use and the check will be written out to both the parents and clinic of choice with a contract that the money will be used for intervention.

30% of the proceeds from the fundraiser goes to the National Autism Association of Central Texas for family counseling, workshops, seminars, and support for the Central Texas autism community. We are expanding workshops throughout Central Texas to Killeen/Temple, San Antonio, Fayette County, and beyond so that families do not have to drive all the way to Austin for these invaluable workshops.

10% goes to NAA National, http://www.nationalautismassociation.org, for national programs such as Family First, Found, and the Helping Hand project.
